10 page flipchart with activities to help awareness of the months. Suitable for junior classes in general or even with concept of time for some mainstream and SET classes.
Matching exercises: Match picture with associated month (in matching form and dragging picture into column form) e.g. Valentine's card goes to February, shamrock goes to March etc.
Open discussion: Discuss what months come to mind when you see some pictures. This part is for open ended answers allowing children to discuss their own experiences of different months that they can relate to. These pages provide opportunity for discussion and reflection. For example, there is a picture of a balloon on one section so the children might associate a balloon with their own birthday month or that of their sibling's etc. so there aren't any wrong answers for a lot of them.
