Set of printable cards for playing equivalent fractions - decimals SNAP game.
I use this as a follow up to reinforce the teaching of converting decimals to fractions and vice versa.
Task: Snap game- children must turn over all cards so they can't see numbers on these. Each card has either a fraction or decimal on it.
Taking turns they turn over two cards each time. They must find the fraction card that matches with the equivalent decimal card. If they find a match they keep the card. Otherwise they turn them back upside down. Keep playing until all cards are gone. At the end, the child with the most pairs wins. A memory game- where is the matching card?
