Literacy Lift Off 6-week Planning Template: Comprehension Station

This template follows the "Building Bridges for Understanding" guidelines on teaching Comprehension. It is a 6-week block plan that can be used for a Comprehension Station either during Literacy Lift Off and/or Literacy Stations.
This planning template can also be used by both Class Teachers/SEN Teachers alike who may like a planning structure on teaching the topic of Comprehension skills to children at any class level and including children with SEN.
Each skill is taught over two weeks, but the planning template allows for weekly recording of The Tile of the Book completed, page numbers etc.
This planning template covers the following comprehension skills:
1. Prediction
2. Visualisation
3. Making Connections
This template can be used across all class levels, as the only aspect that requires changing is the picture book you choose to teach with! This plan is fully adaptable to any picture book that is used, it is teacher-friendly and will also work as a record of your Cuntas Miosuil.
