Your students will work in pairs/small groups and have class discussions and work to find of a solution.


The materials your students will need

  • Tray (has to be a couple of inches deep)
  • Water
  • Oil
  • Sponge
  • Straw
  • Cotton Balls
  • Feathers
  • Pen and pencil for observations
