Teaching Music: Kodaly made simple for Junior Infants to second class
This 88 slide resource presents the Kodaly method of teaching music in its simplest of forms. The presentation contains picture notation, stick notation , clapping rhythms, slides to print in A3, games, learning the solfa scale with handsigns for so, mi and la, learning to write notations -ta, ti-ti and 'rest', songs and ideas for interactive music lessons. Full instructions are given for each set of slides. This resource is designed for use by Junior/Senior Infants but if your children have not learned the Kodaly method as yet, they can start with this resource and continue on with the rest of the Solfa scale.
