The planning is suitable for DIP planning as it follows guidelines from the NIPT with clear aims, objectives, strands, strand units, content, differentiation, linkage and integration, assessment approaches and methodologies and resources! The fortnightly planning can be used as weekly planning if you are completing your DIP year.
Detailed fortnightly planning for 6th Class covering Term 1: September to December with clear learning objectives and activities. The plans are 10 pages long each so are very detailed and organised. The plans contain aims, strands and strand units and provide clear methodologies, lists of resources, assessment and cross curricular integration with other subjects. English has clear learning objectives taken from the Primary Language Curriculum. These fortnightly plans are linked to my long term plans for 6th Class bundle on my store.
The plans are fully editable Microsoft Word documents and can be easily adapted to follow a particular scheme you are using in class. The document is also designed as a Cuntas Miosuil as activities can be easily ticked off as completed.
These fortnightly plans will make your first week in school less stressful as your planning is ready to go! :)
Curriculum books used are as follows: Geography Quest 6, History Quest 6, Science Quest 6, Earthlink, Atlas Hunt, A Way With Words, Hello Universe, Maths Matters, Bun go Barr, Alive 0. Other fun and creative resources are also used: Word a day 6, Daily Language Review 6 and Poetry Through Music.
