Distance Learning - Pack for J1/S1 Teachers
This pack contains useful documents which can be sent home to children of Naíonáin Bheaga/Mhóra in both Gaelscoil and English schools during the period of school closure. The pack contains:
A sample daily timetable for parents
A physical activity menu for parents to give ideas of how to keep their child active at home
An optional activities chart with a variety of non-academic fun activities for children to do at home. They can colour in the chart as they complete the activities
An OSIE/SESE pack containing work for 6 weeks broken into thematic fortnights; Spring (An t-Earrach), Transport (Taisteal) and Food (Bia). Each theme is broken down into Geography, History and Science activities using the Edco Explore With Me Programme as a base. It also includes step by step instructions for parents to help them access the online Edco materials. Furthermore each theme also has optional play activities.
