Aistear Plan-Transport
I am a Junior Infant teacher who implements an Aistear Framework every day. This four page, detailed plan outlines a transport themed Aistear Plan adhering to DES guidelines. The plan contains many suggestions and small group ideas (including construction, small world, cookery and junk art) which can be implemented using a play methodology in any Irish classroom setting. It also includes sensory play ideas which may be suitable for children with ASD and provides cross curricular links with other subject areas including Numeracy, Literacy and SESE. It can last for 2-4 weeks.
