Feelings and Emotions Check In Chart - Wellbeing
It's important for children to be able to express their emotions so that their feelings can be understood by others and self regulate. This chart lets us see how the children in our class are feeling so that we can not only keep an eye on them but guide them and help them when they are experiencing negative feelings.
What's included?
- 2 heading options
- 6 feelings cards with words and pictures
- note template where the children can record how they are feeling and why - this can be put in a box/jar for the teacher.
- A4 sheet with all 6 feelings to be used 1:1
- numbers 1 - 30 in circles - I assign each child a number so only they know their own number
- blank circles so you can use their names if you wish
I would cut out and laminate this display and either use it on a board with magnetic tape, with velcro or simply with blue tack.
