The front cover of Santa's beard should be printed on card, as a piece of cotton wool is added to the corresponding page circle once that day's learning activity has been explored.
Each of 25 pages contains an activity to teach the children a new word as Gaeilge based on the theme of Christmas, with 25 cross-curricular activities addressing Primary Language Learning Objectives in a fun way. The phonetics of how to pronounce the words are included: eg. Nollaig = Nuh-lig = Christmas.
The instructions are in both English and Irish on each activity page.... AND.... the final page in the pack contains a qr code which brings you to the YouTube video of children 'reading' the poems, words and instructions so that you can have the page enlarged and visible upon the whiteboard, whilst you are teaching the content of the day's activity!
This activity could be done once a day, and send the workbook home with the children to enjoy up to Christmas Day!
