This PDF has all you need to get set up teaching vocabulary from the start of the school year. In this bundle you will get all the makings of your very own word wall with headings in colour and black and white, and colourful letters for each part of your word wall. There are two versions of the letter z included to suit which one you would prefer to use. As well as the heading and letters, there are blank templates where you can either write out the vocabulary you are doing or import the PDF as an image to PowerPoint so that you can type out each of the words in a font of your choice for your wall.
On top of having the word wall display, this bundle also includes a variety of vocabulary worksheets. I use these each day with my class. Each week we choose 4-5 wow words and we explore the definition, synonyms, antonyms and then the children write a sentence using the word independently. On a Friday, the children will begin a story (story starter) using the 4-5 new words that they have learned. There is a template for this too.
There are templates for older classes included in this bundle too where the students can focus on 4-5 words in a day, one day looking up definitions, the next synonyms and antonyms, the next writing sentences, and finally also beginning a story with all 4-5 words.
