Wellbeing Balloons
Trying to improve wellbeing in the classroom is a challenge we all face. From my own experience, practicing daily affirmations is an extremely uplifting experience.
This pack contains 50 'I am' affirmations. Each affirmation is provided on a separate hot air balloon template. Spend an SPHE lesson talking about affirmations and their benefits and use the PDF to go through all of them together.
Students can then colour or add their own designs using the templates provided. These can then be laminated for durability.
Every morning, ask a student to choose an affirmation and call it out to the class. All students then repeat the affirmation, continue a number of times and watch as student mindsets grow!
Not only will this benefit our students wellbeing but also our own as we practice the affirmations too :)
Why not place these affirmations in a school hallway or common area for all students and visitors to benefit from!
