Science Week 2023
It's Science Week!
This PDF is a collection of links to over 40* amazing resources available online as well as 3 templates for Experiments, Science Dictionary and Scientist Research.
I have divided the grid into 5 days however it can be used anyway that suits you and your classroom - a pick'n'mix of resources. It is not intended for all this work to be completed during Science Week - we are only human after alll!!!
The categories of activities are:
- SFI Science Shows (Mon/Wed/Fri at 11.20am) and Resources - new plans uploaded by SFI this year
- Experiment - links to Curious Minds, RTÉ and other fun websites under the theme of Human - the body and our actions
- Dictionary - a selection of science related words to be defined (this would make a lovely addition to a Science display board in the classroom for all year round).
- Scientists - links to 5 scientists who have shaped our world today in amazing ways
- RTÉjr Radio - links to Podcasts that may be suitable during eating time
- Explorify - a fantastic website to encourage discussion and creative thinking (Log in required but this is free).
This PDF is not just for Science Week as the links are always live and handy to have in a one page document. Enjoy!
