April Calendar of Events 2024
This interactive PDF has over 50 links to external websites to support your teaching and planning for April. Each day is linked to a specific event with a suggested activity to celebrate it - events include Unicorn Day, DEAR day, World Art Day, Joan Miro and Michael D. Highins’ birthdays, World Voice Day and Earth Day.
This calendar works well during a morning meeting, transition discussion, afternoon wind down or as a full lesson or project. It might also suit those who are subbing or on placement and would like to prepare something extra for their class.
I certainly don’t teach every lesson here but I might choose to do Monday’s lesson on Thursday, Tuesday’s on Friday or a lesson from the 5th on the 15th! This calendar acts as a pick’n’mix of April activities! The choice is yours but great to have a themed lesson idea ready at the click of a link.
