This English long term plan uses picture books as the majority of its reading content and oral language content to link in with my chosen monthly themes. Some content is used from the Starlight 2nd and 3rd class programmes.
Three writing genres are focused on throughout the year: recount, procedure and report.
Grammar, phonics, vocabulary strategies, vocabulary focus, integration and additional activity are also included.
