Culture Interview and Project Rubric
This Culture Interview Project with Rubric is the perfect way to promote cultural awareness and celebrate diversity in your classroom. It includes a set of 12 open-ended interview questions that students can use to interview a classmate (or other person) about their culture and heritage. The questions are designed to encourage students to learn about different cultures and deeply reflect upon cultural backgrounds. Note-taking templates are also included for each question of the interview so your students can take note of important and interesting points and information discussed during the interview.
Following the interview, your students will complete a project based on their interviewee's culture. To assess the finalised poster projects, the pack also includes a rubric with assessment criteria based on content accuracy, creativity, organization, reflection, and presentation. This rubric will guide students on what is expected of their final product and will allow you to assess their understanding of different cultures accurately.
This Culture Interview pack is perfect for teachers who want to encourage cultural awareness and celebrate diversity in their classrooms. It is suitable for multicultural classrooms, social studies classes, or any other class that values cultural diversity.
Grab this Culture Interview Project today, and watch your students learn and grow as they explore the richness and diversity of our world!
