Calm Down Motivators
Included are 10 3-Minute Motivators. These motivators require little physical activity as students remain seated silently at their desks throughout. With the teacher leading, students engage their imaginations in interesting, often unusual ways. These activities involve a degree of meditation, of quiet reflection and rumination, of slowing down and breathing, will quickly become obvious. These refocusers are most effective for situations in which students have been very active; the teacher's goal is to calm them down in preparation for a more concentrated pursuit.
