The children cut out the words and sort into the correct column depending on whether the given vowel has a fada or not. Through reading the words in this activity the children will begin to see the difference in each vowel with and without a fada. All worksheets have simple Irish words which the children will most likely be familiar with. It may be a good idea to read through the words on the board/visualiser as an introduction.
