As a 6th class teacher I know that the details of the 1916 rising can be difficult for children to follow. There is an overload of information and this can be confusing for children. This presentation is one that I have used myself in class and have found very effective. The rising is broken down-step by step-and illustrated with relevant photos, maps etc. A useful resource, especially this year as the 1916 centenary is upon us. Examples of some of the slideshow have been uploaded.
